horse playas

Friday was draggin' me down until the clock hit 5:29 pm, thus settin' me free. That afternoon C-poo was sayin' something about how her anus had relocated between her shoulder blades. Ah, that ain't no good, so I decided to invite ms. dani and chrissy-poo over for some horsin' around with masques and educational writing utensils--the kind teachers use when illustrating the evils of society.
The next morning I remembered my promise of draggin' ms. dani and I's asses to la playa, robert moses to be exact. On the way there, people kept commenting on dani's "tattoos" and how did she get those colors?? Idiots...
Her reply, "where am I?"

Please, where the hell am I?

snugglin' up in s.i.

Chrissy-poo and I took some vitamin b complex and trekked out to snug harbor on staten island. Getting to the ferry was a bit irritating especially when we got stuck in the pits of canal street station--mmm, delish. Once on the ferry, we scored some good seats facing out towards the statue and ellis island and jers...the windy transit was a relief from the frying pan. The Snug greeted us with a bluegrass band doing a soundcheck...I felt like I was back in Lawrence with the heat and the pluckin'. The gardens were pretty cute and stuff, but my fav. was the kissing statue that I thought was this one, but obviously not--these chokin' smoochers were towering above.

Here's some more pics of the day.

dollz

Chris, Mark and I hit Jackson Heights on Sunday to grab some Indian food and do some cheap shopping. I was entranced by all the eerie looking mannequins that looked sorta like the dolls from Barbarella--I was waiting for any one of 'em to start chomping at my stockings. After hitting the Indian section we headed over to the Latin section for some dollar store adventures and a few margaritas at Friend's Tavern. We were all drooling over the Bar Boy that was workin' the garden. To sober up, we had our second meal at Tierras Colombianas which was a lil' too meaty for me, but I survived. Next time I'm up in J. Heights I'll have to try out some Cuy Asado--or not.
