Matchmaker, matchmaker...

...make me a match, find me a find, catch me a catch...
Yeah, I have this amazing talent. As soon as I find someone that I'm attracted to, and the attraction is mutual, and when I find the social climate ripe to introduce that crush to a group of friends, it always happens that the crush finds another in the group to be with....

dirty deeds

Can you believe someone tried to serve me this on Friday night at an upscale locale in BoCoCa? Well, not really, but I thought it characterized an evening well spent with friends.
After having helped move my friend Sher'n outta her place down the block on Saturday morn', and after cleansing away all the accumulated dust of two years of neglect in housekeeping, I came across this. I was so shocked that I had to down a glass of Côtes du Rhône, and follow it up all day with another bottle of wine shared with a certain cute guy from the neighborhood....I ended the evening by being sprawled about whilst listening to the Berliner Messe by Arvo Pärt with Oleg...but not before endulging on Manchego Cheese Fried cubes from this local place BEAST...mmm...it was the upscale, tapas version of a mozarella stick, but tasted so delicious with this wonderful Syrah from god knows where.... burp...

gawd, I luv nyc....

Since when is going to a Whole Foods like being in Mickie D's??? After work, I decided to walk around downtown, cruise as usual, and take various peeks at the cute lil' doggie windows on Christopher Street....how do they keep all that poo outta the cages?? Anyway, I headed up to Union Square to see what was goin' on and saw this rush of people heading into the entrance of Whole Foods, reminiscent of the Time Machine except no sirens to lead the people into the ground. I walked in and decided to get some snacks for later and was astounded at how bitchy everyone was....please, let me be the only bitchy one at a friggin' health food store! This lady butted in front of me and the only thing I had to give back to her was a burp in her direction...luckily I had been munching on some trail mix, so I'm sure it gave off a pleasant smell...
After all that I ended up heading to PS122 to see my friend chrissy-poo do her thang at the WYSIWYG Talent Show, and was amazed (as always) at the presented talent. Sometimes the participants post their stories on the WYSIWYG site, so check it out and hopefully it'll bring a smile to your face....
The most handsome man in Prospect Heights (besdies moi) accompanied me to the show and dinner afterwards, so all in all it was a good night.....I even got a lil' kiss on the lips....
